Frank’s seen it all and you can feel his experience when he speaks. What I love about Frank is that he pulls lessons from the mistakes he made in the past. Some teachers can just throw wisdom down at you from their high horse. The path of an actor is filled with highs and lows, and he lays both sides bare for us to learn from. Frank is raw and real — the qualities of the best artists. When you’re in his class, you can feel his passion for this profession. He’s there out of pure love for storytelling. It’s the best environment to learn, be honest, and take risks. His classes will keep you sane in this crazy industry. He will always be a pivotal figure in my journey as an actor.
My favorite thing about this class is Frank. He doesn’t push one approach and claim there is only one way to do things. He also helps you bring in technique when the shoe fits. This continues to be my favorite class.
I’ve went to a few different classes now ( audited even more) and this continues to be my favorite class I’ve taken yet.

I’ve grown so incredibly much & I attribute it to The Annex Acting Studio.
"Frank once told me, ‘A good class should be able to offer you at least one breakthrough per class. If not, leave.’ I balked! There’s no way. And then I actually took his class and experienced what he meant. Each class builds on the last, without needing the stuffy constraints of a structured syllabus, because he meets every actor where they are and guides them to their next step, wherever that may be for them. I always feel very seen here."
"Frank was my favorite teacher during my summer intensive at AADA. His Meisner-based approach to teaching is what I related to most. He taught me how to be authentic and honest in my acting. Frank allowed me to make discoveries for myself through a rare way of teaching that was actually quite fun every class. Thanks to Frank, I am a more confident actor on camera and on the stage."
"I had the pleasure of working with Frank during a summer intensive on- camera session for 2 residential weeks at AADA. Frank clearly demonstrates an actor's understanding of both the craft and business of acting. I learned focus and intention with his direction to ask myself, 'What do I want to do with this line of dialogue?' If you get a chance to work with him...take it."
“I would highly recommend any actor to the Annex. Frank Krueger knows acting and his approach to the craft and teaching is phenomenal. One thing for me that tells me I’m in a good class is when the other actors and myself are all taking huge leaps of growth in a short period of time, which I have noticed since training with Frank. One thing for me that tells me I’m in a good class is when the other actors and myself are all taking huge leaps of growth in a short period of time, which I have noticed since training with Frank. And above all, he is an actor himself and understands what we go through as artists - which sometimes means we as actors can’t afford class, so he makes it donation based and “pay what you can”. Great class. Everything is on camera so you could study your work.”
